The phrase Construction of Black Civilization should not be mistaken for a conference slogan. Construction implies design, discipline, material, labor, sequence, evaluation, and structures capable of surviving the enthusiasm of a single gathering.

On December 12–13, 2026, the Abibitumi Conference + Abibifahodie Festival will convene at Abibitumi Headquarters in Akuapem Mampong. The call for papers has closed. The next task is to gather an audience that understands itself as part of the building process.

That means listening for what can be taught, replicated, funded, defended, measured, and carried into another institution. It means connecting Black self-identification to sḫm Km, and connecting Black Power to Abibifahodie through actual systems rather than rhetorical agreement.

Study the official conference page and reserve December 12–13. Do not come merely to witness a program. Come prepared to identify the work that becomes yours afterward.
